Markham House
Markham House was a city building lab and community hub which showcased the creativity of the neighbourhood and the City. The space offered the public an opportunity to engage with the project team on the broader principles and specifics of the redevelopment proposal. Over the course of 32 months, Markham House functioned as a venue for contemporary and historical exhibitions such as Anne Mirvish: Artist in Her Studio Ephemera from Mirvish Village. The exhibition included a retrospective look at Anne Mirvish’s body of work, along with archival images from Mirvish Village. The house opened on September 19, 2015 and closed in December 2016.
